Telangana High Court Recruitment 2023 notification announced for the posts of Stenographer/ Typist/ Copyist in various disciplines. There are a total of 319 vacancies for Stenographer/ Typist/ Copyist available in the above-mentioned jobs.

The High Court of Telangana is the High Court of the Indian state of Telangana. Founded by the 7th Nizam H.E.H Mir Osman Ali Khan, initially, it was set up as the High Court of Hyderabad for the then Princely State of Hyderabad Deccan and later renamed High Court of Andhra Pradesh, as it was set up on 5 November 1956 under the States Reorganization Act, 1956. The Andhra Pradesh High Court was renamed as the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad in view of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh state.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification :
- Stenographer:
- Must be a Graduate.
- Passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in English. Typewriting by Higher Grade (45 words per minute) OR equivalent examination.
- Passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in English Shorthand by Higher Grade (120 words per minute) OR equivalent examination. Provided that if candidates who have passed the examination with a Higher Grade are not available, those who have passed the examination with a Lower Grade will be considered.
- Knowledge OR qualification in computer operation.
- Typist:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR any equivalent qualification.
- Must have passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in English Typewriting by Higher Grade (45 words per minute), OR equivalent examination.
- Must have knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
- Copyist:
- Passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the State Board of Intermediate Education OR its equivalent.

- Provided that if candidates who have passed the Typewriting examination by a higher grade are not available, those who have passed the Typewriting examination by a lower grade may be considered.
Note: Candidates with higher than the prescribed academic and technical qualifications, if any, shall submit the certificates at the time of certificate verification.
Age limit(As On 01 July 2023): 18 to 34 years
Age relaxation:
- SC/ ST/ /BC / EWS- 5 years.
- Candidates with physical disabilities – 10 years.

Selection process:
- Stenographer:
- The selection process will be on the basis of merit, evaluated by Shorthand English Examination/ Transcription.
- The minimum qualifying marks to be secured in the Shorthand English Examination (comprising of dictation of 120 w.p.m. (5 minutes duration)) and transcription to be done on Computers within 45 minutes will be 40% for OC,35% to the BC candidates and 30% for SC, ST & P.H. candidates.
- Typist/Copyist:
- The selection process consists of The English Typewriting test (skill test) using computers for 10 minutes (with a speed of 45 w.p.m.) for 100 marks.
- The minimum qualifying marks to be secured in the Typing test are 40% for O.C. and EWS candidates, 35% for the candidates of the BC category and 30% for the candidates of SCs, STs and P.H. categories.
Notes:
- Weightage marks will be given to the candidates presently working on a contract or outsourcing basis in the High Court for the State of Telangana OR in the District Courts in the State of Telangana, based on the length of the rendered.
- They have put in at least two years of qualifying service by the date of publication of this notification;

- After Shortlisting, selected candidates have to appear in person and shall produce their original certificates for verification along with two (02) sets of photocopies of the said certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer and also to submit the willingness in writing to join the service, to the appointing authority.
- The merit list will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the skill test (Stenography test) in English.
Examination fees: ( Non- Refundable):
- Rs.600/- for OC/BC candidates.
- Rs.400/- for the SC, ST and EWS category candidates
