PNB Recruitment 2023 – Punjab National Bank (PNB) invites applications from eligible candidates for the Specialist Officers – Credit/ Industry/ Civil Engineer/ Electrical Engineer/Architect/ Economics/ Manager, and Senior Manager posts. There are a total of 240 vacancies to be filled for this recruitment. Candidates with the education qualification of B.E/ B. Tech/ B.Arch/ M.E/ M. Educational Qualification:

Officer-Credit:

• Mandatory:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) OR Cost Management Accountant- CMA (ICWA) OR Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute (USA). OR
  • Full-time Post-Graduation Degree/ Diploma in Management (MBA/ PGDM/ equivalent) with specialization in Finance with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Desirable: Work Experience in Bank(s)/FI(s)

Officer -Industry:

• Mandatory: Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech. in streams of Electrical/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Civil/ Textile/ Mining/ Metallurgy with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade
• Desirable: Industrial Experience

Officer -Civil Engineer:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in the relevant field (civil engineering) in Construction/Renovation/Retrofitting/ Interior Furnishing/Maintenance works of Commercial/ Residential/ Institutional/ Industrial/ Administrative buildings.

Officer -Electrical Engineer:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in the relevant field

Officer- Architect:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time degree in B.Arch. or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience in the relevant field

Officer -Economics:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-Time Graduation Degree with Economics as the Main subject And
  • Full-Time Post Graduation Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Business Economics/ Applied Economics/ Financial Economics/Industrial Economics/ Monetary Economics with a minimum 60% mark or equivalent grade.
• Desirable: Advanced Skills in Data Science Tools like SAS, Python etc.

Manager (Economics) :

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time Graduation Degree with Economics as the Main subject And Full-time Post Graduation Degree in Economics/ Econometrics/ Business Economics/ Applied Economics/ Financial Economics/ Industrial Economics/ Monetary Economics from any University recognized/ approved by Govt. bodies/ UGC with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Officer in any Financial Institution/ Bank/ Central or State Govt.
• Desirable:
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office Applications like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. Econometric Modelling and Forecasting
  • Exposure in Research Related Works in Economics/ Publication of Research Papers or Articles in reputed journals/ Knowledge in Data Science Tools like SAS, Python etc

Manager Data Scientist/ Sr.Manager Data Scientist:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech./ M.E./ M. Tech. in Computer Science with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. AND
    6 months Certification (from any of the below-mentioned list of Institutes) in Data Analytics/ Data Science Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. OR
    Full-time Post Graduation Degree in Statistics with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR
  • Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech./ M.E./ M. Tech. in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Model Development.
  • Sr.Manager Data Scientist): Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Science / Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Model Development.
• Desirable: 
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) from INFORMS.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Banking and Finance sector.

Manager Cyber Security/Sr. Manager Cyber Security:

• Mandatory:
  • Full-time degree in B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communications Engineering or  M.C.A. with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade. And
  • Any one of the following certifications:
    • Cisco certified network associate (CCNA)
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA SECURITY)
    • Checkpoint certified security expert (CCSC)
    • Palo alto network certified network security engineer (PCNSE) expert
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in IT, of which at least 2- year experience in managing IT & Cyber Security in large datacentre/ soc/ soc handling.
  • Sr. Manager Cyber Security: Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT, of which at least 3- year experience in managing IT & Cyber Security in large datacentre/ soc/ soc handling.
  • Desirable: Full-time degree in M.Tech in computer science/ Information Technology /Electronics and Communications

Age Limit (As on 01 January 2023) :

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on an Online Written Test followed by a Personal Interview or Personal Interview only, depending upon the application’s response received against each post, as per the discretion of the Bank.

Online Written Test:

Part I/II :

Candidates have to qualify for all the Tests of Part-I. The part-II, i.e. professional knowledge test, will be evaluated only for those candidates who qualify in each paper in Part-I. Minimum qualifying marks in each individual Test will be decided by the Bank based on the collective response of the
candidates.

Personal Interview : 

• Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks as decided by the Bank in Part-I will be considered for shortlisting for an Interview on the basis of merit prepared as per marks obtained by them in Part-II, i.e. Professional Knowledge Test, provided they fulfil the other eligibility criteria with regard to Educational Qualification and Post Qualification work experience for the respective post.
• Personal Interviews will be 50 marks. Minimum qualifying marks in interview shall be 45%, i.e. 22.50 for SC/ST candidates & 50%, i.e. 25 for other candidates.

Application Fees : 

• SC/ST/PwBD category candidates Rs. 50/- + GST@18% per candidate (only postage charges) = Rs 59/-
• Other category candidates Rs. 1000/- + GST@18% per candidate = Rs 1180/-
