NIT Calicut Recruitment 2023 : The NIT Calicut has issued a recruitment notification for the year 2023, inviting applications for the position of Technical Staff across multiple departments. A total of 150 job openings are accessible for this role. Individuals possessing qualifications such as B.E., B.Tech, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB, LLM, any degree, diploma, ITI, 10th, or 12th are eligible to submit their applications.

Educational Qualification

Technical Staffs:

Junior Engineer: 

• First Class B.E./B. Tech. in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. Or
• First Class Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record

Superintendent: 

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline Or
• Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade And
• Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet
• Note:
  • For Legal – Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Law
  • For Finance and Accounts – Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Commerce/ Accountancy / Banking/ Finance its equivalent And/Or Intermediate Course in CA/ICWA or its equivalent

Technical Assistant:

• First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E./B. Tech/MCA in relevant field in relevant subject from a recognized university. Or
• First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field with excellent academic record Or
• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute Or
• Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade

Library & Information Assistant: 

• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce from recognized University /Institute And
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science
• Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking, PGDCA or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Senior Assistant: 

• Essential:
  • Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board And
  • Minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet
  • Note: For Finance and Accounts – Senior secondary (10+2) in Commerce from a recognized board
• Desirable: Proficiency in other computer skills, stenography skills, Bachelor’s degree
• Note: For Finance and Accounts –
  • Proficiency in Accounts related computer skills/software like Tally or any similar course
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Accountancy / Banking/ Finance or its equivalent

Senior Technician: 

• Senior secondary (10+2) with Science from a recognized board with at least 60% marks Or
• Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI, Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI, Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in a relevant field from a recognized Polytechnic / Institute.
• Desirable: Bachelor’s degree

Junior Assistant: 

• Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board And

Selection Process

• The selection process is based on CBT.
• The Institute may also include a written exam and/or skill test or any other test the Institute deems fit in its selection process to screen the candidates and assess their suitability.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process on the basis of the information provided by them in their online applications.

2. സൂപ്രണ്ട്:

(i) ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് ബാച്ചിലേഴ്സ് ബിരുദം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും വിഷയത്തിൽ അംഗീകൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നോ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്നോ തത്തുല്യം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അംഗീകൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നോ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്നോ കുറഞ്ഞത് 50% മാർക്കോടെയോ തത്തുല്യ ഗ്രേഡോടെയോ ഏതെങ്കിലും വിഷയത്തിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം.

(ii) കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകളെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അറിവ്, അതായത് വേഡ് പ്രോസസ്സിംഗ്, സ്പ്രെഡ് ഷീറ്റ്

3. ടെക്നിക്കൽ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ്

അംഗീകൃത സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിഷയത്തിൽ ബി.ഇ./ബി.ടെക്/എം.സി.എ.യിൽ ഒന്നാം ക്ലാസ് അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തത്തുല്യ ഗ്രേഡ്. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മികച്ച അക്കാദമിക് റെക്കോർഡോടെ പ്രസക്തമായ മേഖലയിൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് ഡിപ്ലോമ. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അംഗീകൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നോ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്നോ സയൻസിൽ ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് ബാച്ചിലേഴ്സ് ബിരുദം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കുറഞ്ഞത് 50% മാർക്കോടെ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തത്തുല്യ ഗ്രേഡോടെ അംഗീകൃത സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നോ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്നോ സയൻസിൽ ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദം.

(i) അംഗീകൃത യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി / ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് സയൻസ്/ആർട്സ്/കൊമേഴ്സ് എന്നിവയിൽ ഫസ്റ്റ് ക്ലാസ് ബാച്ചിലേഴ്സ് ബിരുദം.

(ii) ലൈബ്രറിയിലും ഇൻഫർമേഷൻ സയൻസിലും ബാച്ചിലേഴ്സ് ബിരുദം.

5. സീനിയർ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ്

അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2).

(ii) ടൈപ്പിംഗ് വേഗത 35 w.p.m. കൂടാതെ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ വേഡ് പ്രോസസ്സിംഗിലും സ്പ്രെഡ് ഷീറ്റിലും പ്രാവീണ്യം.

6. സീനിയർ ടെക്നീഷ്യൻ

കുറഞ്ഞത് 60% മാർക്കോടെ അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് സയൻസിനൊപ്പം സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2) അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കുറഞ്ഞത് 50% മാർക്കോടെ അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2), ഉചിതമായ ട്രേഡിൽ ഒരു വർഷമോ അതിൽ കൂടുതലോ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ഐടിഐ കോഴ്സ്, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ 60% മാർക്കിൽ കുറയാത്ത സെക്കൻഡറി (10), ഉചിതമായ ട്രേഡിൽ 2 വർഷത്തെ ഐടിഐ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അംഗീകൃത പോളിടെക്‌നിക് / ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട മേഖലയിൽ മൂന്ന് വർഷത്തെ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ഡിപ്ലോമ.

7. ജൂനിയർ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ്

(i) അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2). (ii) ടൈപ്പിംഗ് വേഗത 35 w.p.m. കൂടാതെ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ വേഡ് പ്രോസസ്സിംഗിലും സ്പ്രെഡ് ഷീറ്റിലും പ്രാവീണ്യം.

8. ടെക്നീഷ്യൻ

കുറഞ്ഞത് 60% മാർക്കോടെ സർക്കാർ അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് സയൻസിനൊപ്പം സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2), അല്ലെങ്കിൽ സർക്കാർ അംഗീകൃത ബോർഡിൽ നിന്ന് കുറഞ്ഞത് 50% മാർക്കോടെ സീനിയർ സെക്കൻഡറി (10+2), ഒരു വർഷമോ അതിൽ കൂടുതലോ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള ഉചിതമായ ഐടിഐ കോഴ്സ്,
