Indian Air Force Agnipath Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2023: Indian Air Force invites online applications for recruitment for New HR methodology for induction of Agniveervayu under ‘Agnipath Scheme’ from unmarried Indian male candidates. Candidates with the qualification of 12th pass/Diploma are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates can apply for this Agniveer position online. Detailed Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

Science Subjects:

• Candidates should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
• Passed Two years of Vocational courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards /Councils which are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the vocational course).

Other than Science Subjects:

• Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Passed two years’ vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE members with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Age Limit:

• Candidates born between 27 June 2003 and 27 December 2006 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection trial, then the upper age limit as of the date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Salary: Rs 30,000/-

Selection Process:

• The selection process includes an Online Test/PST/Medical Examination.
• Eligible candidates will be sent provisional admit cards for Phase – I of testing on their registered e-mail IDs between 48-72 hrs prior to the examination.

Phase I – Scheme of Examination:

• One mark for every correct answer.
• Nil (0) marks for unattempted questions.
• 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer
• Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise Physics, Mathematics, and English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
• Other than Science Subjects: Total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
• Science Subjects & Other than Science Subjects: The total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise Physics, Mathematics, and English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).

Phase II:

• The result of Phase-I and the list of shortlisted candidates for Phase II, based on their performance in the Phase-I Online test, will be uploaded on the website.
• Soon after the declaration of the result of the Phase-I (Online) Test, a cut-off will be applied based on the normalized marks scored by the candidates in the Phase-I Test, and SHORTLISTED candidates will be sent a New admit card on their registered e-mail IDs for the Phase-II test at a designated ASC.
• Names of the shortlisted candidates, who qualify for the online test, shall be displayed and on a stipulated date shall be called at the designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I, and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts, PFT-I and PFT-II.
• Candidates who qualify for Adaptability Test-II shall be issued with medical appointment letters at their respective ASCs.

Phase III: The medical examination shall be conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and policy in vogue on the subject issue.

Examination Fees:

• The examination fee of Rs. 250/- is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
• The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through a payment gateway.
• Candidates are advised to follow the instructions/steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep transaction details for their records.

Note:

• Online Exam starts from 13 October 2023 onwards.
• The list of candidates finally called for enrolment in AGNIVEERVAYU INTAKE 01/2024 will be published on 27 May 2024.
• E-Call letter ONLY shall be sent to candidates called for enrolment on their Registered e-mail IDs.
• The Provisional Select List (PSL) (merit-wise) will be prepared after the completion of the selection test and the same will be displayed at all the ASCs and also on the web portal on 17 May 2024.
• Agniveervayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under Air Force Act 1950, for a period of 04 years.
