Detailed Eligibility – IIT Palakkad Careers
Educational Qualification:
Project Areas: This project aims to understand the language attitudes and the vitality of the languages spoken by the three tribal communities in Attapady, Palakkad district (the Irular, Mudugar and Kurumba communities). The main objective is to collaborate with the community members and local interlocutors to not only document diverse aspects of their language varieties but to also facilitate discussions and efforts related to language reclamation
Field Investigator:
- Postgraduate in Sociology/ Linguistics with minimum 55% marks
- Required Skills: Proven experience of ethnographic/linguistic fieldwork, excellent communication skills in Malayalam
Appointment Duration: 6 Months
Age Limit (26 June 2024): Candidates who are not exceeding 35 years
Age relaxation: Relaxation to candidates belonging to OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD categories and women applicants as per Government of India norms.
IIT Palakkad vacancies: 01 Post
Salary Details: The consolidated monthly remuneration for this position will be Rs. 15,000/- (Fifteen Thousand Rupees Only). Hostel accommodation may be provided at the institute based on availability on a chargeable basis.
