About IISER: The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) is dedicated to scientific research and science education of international standards. Traditionally, teaching has been segregated from research in undergraduate science curricula in our country. The IISERs were established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to bridge this dichotomy. IISER TVM was founded in 2008. The institute aims to provide high-quality education in modern science, integrating it with outstanding research at the undergraduate level itself, and developing a spirit of inquiry cutting across disciplines.

Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Name of Project: Copper-Mediated Nucleophilic and Electrophilic Propargylation Reactions: Asymmetric Synthesis of Various Propargylic Compounds.

Project Associate-1:

• M.Sc Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Preference: Candidates having research experience will be preferred.

Age Limit: Less than 30 years.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation for OBC-NCL, SC/ST candidates as per GoI norms.

Salary:

• Rs 31,000/- for GATE or CSIR/UGC-NET JRF or LS (Lectureship).
• Rs 25,000/- for those who do not qualify for GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET JRF/LS (Lectureship).
