ICF Recruitment 2023 : The ICF (Integral Coach Factory) has issued a recruitment notification for various Apprentice positions in 2023. A total of 782 vacancies are available for these posts. Individuals who have completed their 10th grade, 12th grade, or possess an ITI qualification are eligible to apply for these jobs. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online. The detailed eligibility criteria and selection process are explained in the sections below.
ICF (Integral Coach Factory): The Integral Coach Factory was established in the year 1955 by the first prime minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. The main function of ICF is to manufacture railway coaches of many types and variations for the Indian Railway. The most appreciated coaches invented by ICF are self-propelled and special-type coaches. More than 58544 coaches are invented /produced by Integral Coach Factory.

Detailed Eligibility:
Educational Qualification:
Fitter/Electrician/Machinist:
- Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science & Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science & Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Carpenter/Painter/Welder:
- Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
- Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Programming and System Admin. Asst: Should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) and also possess a National Trade certificate in the trade of Computer Operator and Programming Asst. issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training of one year and above.
Welder: Should have passed Std X (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
MLT (Radiology & Pathology): Should have passed Std XII examination under 10 + 2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Age Limit ( As on 30 June 2023 ): 15 to 24 years.
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC candidates
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates.
Stipend:
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 10th): Rs 6000/- (per month)
- Freshers – School pass-outs (class 12th): Rs 7000/- (per month)
- Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder: Rs 7000/- (per month)

Selection Process:
- The selection process is based on merit.
- The merit list will be based on marks obtained in Std X.
Processing Fees:
- A processing fee of Rs 100/- + service charges as applicable (non-refundable) is to be paid through online mode.
- No application fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
- Candidates should preserve this Transaction ID for future reference of payment detail.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the job online on their official website latest by 30 June 2023 up to 5.30 pm.
Note:
- The selected ITI/Non-ITI (fresher’s) candidates have to execute a contract of apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act-1961.
- All communication from the ICF administration will be sent by SMS or e-mail only and the select/eligible list will be uploaded to the ICF web portal.
- After the final submission, candidates can generate the acknowledgment form from the system.
- The candidates are advised to take a printout of the acknowledgment generated by the system which is required to be submitted at the time of Document Verification.
