ITBP Jobs – Detailed Eligibility
Education Qualification:
Assistant Sub-Inspector:
Laboratory Technician:
- Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects from a recognized Board or equivalent
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution.
- One year experience as Laboratory Technician in medical set up.
Radiographer:
- Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent
- Diploma in Radio Diagnosis from any recognized Institute of the Central or State Government
- Desirable: One year experience in the field.
OT Technician:
- Passed 12th examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or University, and
- Diploma or certificate in Operation Theatre Technician from an institution recognized by the Central Government or the State Government.
Physiotherapist:
- Passed the 12th examination or equivalent of a recognized board or University and
- Diploma or certificate in physiotherapy from an institution recognized by the Control or the Sate government
Head Constable (Central Sterilization Room Assistant):
- Passed 12th examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or University, and
- Certificate in Central Sterilization Assistant from an institution or hospital Recognized by the Central Government of the State Government
Constable:
Peon: Passed Matriculation (10th) examination or equivalent from a recognized board or equivalent
Telephone Operator cum receptionist:
- Passed Matriculation (10th) examination or equivalent with science from a recognized board or equivalent, and One year’s experience as a Telephone
- Operator in an Office or Hospital having a Telephone Exchange of at least 50 Line PBX systems with working knowledge of telephone line lying
Dresser:
- Passed Matriculation (10th) examination or equivalent from a recognized board or equivalent and
- One year experience as a dresser in hospital or clinic
Linen Keeper:
- Passed Matriculation (10th) examination of equivalent with science from a recognized board or equivalent and
- One year’s experience in handling of Linen in a hospital of other organizations dealing in Linen

Selection Process of ITBP Careers:
- The selection process will consist of a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Documentation, Practical Examination, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME).
- Medical Examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and AR issued vide MHA U.O. No. A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and as amended from time to time by the Government and A.V1.I/14- Rectt(SSB) dated 24-08-2015 as amended from time to time by the Government.
