Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Canara Bank invites applications from candidates for the engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. There are 3000 openings for this position. Candidates with Any Degree qualification are eligible to apply for the job. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 21 September 2024 to 04 October 2024. The detailed eligibility and selection process for Canara Bank Careers are explained below;

Canara Bank Apprentice – Detailed Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Graduate Apprentices:

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government

Test of local language:

• Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the local language test.
• For other candidates, the test for knowledge of local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted when the candidate is called for Document Verification by the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged as apprentice.

Period of Apprenticeship Training: The Period of Apprenticeship Training will be One Year

Canara Bank Vacancy 2024 – Age Limit (As on 01 September 2024):

• Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on the date of reckoning for eligibility i.e Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01.09.1996 and not later than 01.09.2004 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

• Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (NonCreamy Layer) – 3 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as defined under “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016” – 10 years
• Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried – Age concession up to the age of 35 years for General/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates
• Persons affected by 1984 riots – 5 years

Canara Bank Apprentice Vacancy 2024: 3000 Posts

Canara Bank Apprentice Stipend: A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- (including subsidy amount, if any, by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship.

Selection Process of Canara Bank Careers:

• The selection process will be based on Merit
• Merit list will be prepared based only on the information submitted by the candidate during online application
• The merit list of those candidates who have applied will be prepared State wise in descending order on the basis of marks/percentage obtained in 12th Std (HSC/10+2)/ Diploma Examination. In case more than one candidate is having the same percentage, such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit.
• The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects) multiplied by 100.

Final Selection will be subject to:

• Verification of the eligibility for the training seat and information furnished in the online application.
• Qualification in the test of local language for the State opted
• Be declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
