Kerala State Lotteries Department Notification 2023 for the Post of Data Base Administrator/ System Administrator

The Department of State Lotteries , Government of Kerala, invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment as Database Administrator/ System Administrator on contract basis.

The selected candidates will be posted at the Directorate of State Lotteries, Thiruvananthapuram.

Eligibility Criteria: The applicants intending to apply should ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria specified here in below before applying.

Vacancy Details

Position : Data base Administrator (Linux)

Qualification : BE/ B. Tech (IT /CS/ECE) with Certification in Open Source RDBMS management.

Experience :

• Minimum Three Years Industry Experience in Database Management (PostgreSQL) under Linux platform.
• Experience and expertise in Indexing, Partitioning, Triggers, Stored Procedures & Functions, Replication, Master -Slave & Multi Master, Clustering, Tuning, Backup & Recovery
• Experience in Database and Software Optimization in large applications
• Experience in Cloud Environment/ Data Centre environment desirable.

Position : Systems Administrator (Linux)

Qualification : BE/B.Tech (IT/CS/ ECE)

Experience :

• Minimum three Years Industry Experience in Linux Administration
• Experience and expertise include Installation and Commissioning of Operating Systems and PostGreSQL, APACHE, TOMCAT Servers, preferably in a Data Centre/Cloud Environment
• Linux Administration, DNS Management.
• Certification in Linux Administration

Age Details

Maximum Age limit : 50 Yrs.

Mode of Appointment : On contract basis for one year, which may be extended based on the performance of the candidate.
